I want to highlight a series of unethical business practices I experienced with Nykaa at the Inorbit Mall store Malad Mumbai
• Selling staff Bhakti Sold me a 1-year-old lipstick without any disclosure.
• Product purchased was sealed and unused, yet the store refused to provide a fresh replacement immediately.
• Despite filing a grievance with Consumer Affairs (No. 7956479) on 8th October, Nykaa has repeatedly stalled the refund and pickup process for over a week.
• Staff (Kranti Karnik & Store Manager Shehbaz) repeatedly deflected responsibility, giving inconsistent and vague responses over email.
• Nykaa store manager Shehbaz made unprofessional phone calls beyond business hours (8:37–8:40 pm) despite my clear written instruction for email-only communication.
• Customer service failed to coordinate internally; I had to repeatedly chase for confirmation of refund/pickup still not arranged a pickup n refund
• Multiple emails forwarded to Consumer Affairs authorities were ignored or met with vague, non-committal replies by Kranti FromNyka Team complaints
• The product remains sealed and ready for pickup, yet Nykaa continues to delay and deflect, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Overall: Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. Consumers deserve transparency, honesty, and accountability.

I went there to buy a concealer and I got help after good 10 minutes of standing there and testing the product on my own. And when the saleslady did come she was rude to me and told me that I need to work on my skincare rather than buy makeup. It is none of anyone's business on what I choose to buy and use. She had no idea about my skin conditions and yet felt the need to comment on my marks. I wanted to buy the concealer but now I'm going to order it online. This is just one of the reasons why people don't go to offline stores anymore.
