Botched upper blepharoplasty by Dr Adit Gupta

“My mother has asian eyes and she underwent an upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Adit Gupta, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The first surgery did not achieve proper eye symmetry, so a revision was required. During the second surgery, anaesthesia was not administered properly, and my mother felt pain throughout the procedure, which was very distressing. When we confronted Dr. Gupta about this, he denied it instead of acknowledging our concern.

This was not purely cosmetic — my mother had excess skin on her eyelids that affected her vision. While waiting for our appointment, we also noticed another patient there for a revision because her surgery performed by Dr Gupta had gone wrong, which added to our concerns.

We had to do a revision surgery from Dr. Siddharth Prakash (Ambrosia Aesthetics, Mumbai), an internationally trained board-certified plastic surgeon who did a fabulous job on her eyes.

Please do not fall for the reviews on his website, he is a highly inexperienced doctor and getting any procedure from him is throwing money down the drain, plus any surgery from him is going to be painful."

I am very happy with Dr. Adit Gupta because many doctors could not find what problem I had in my eyes but when I met Adit Sir, he found my problems and cured my eyes. I wish him luck in his work.
