Disappointed with Consultation Experience at Dr. Agarwal Eye Clinic.

Visited Dr.Agarwal Eye Clinic, Bhandup for double vision in my right eye. The initial check-up was fine, but after the scan, Dr. Sachin Kolhe left before giving any conclusion, and only the technician explained the reports. Though my issue was in one eye, scans were done for both and charged accordingly. No new eye drops were prescribed; I was told to continue my old Soha drop. Overall, I found the clinic unprofessional and lacking proper patient care and communication.

I recently visited this clinic with my 4-year-old for an eye check-up. The assistant spent quite some time trying to get him to focus on the machine but became frustrated when he couldn’t cooperate consistently. It’s important to remember that at this age, it’s unrealistic to expect a child to follow instructions exactly like an adult. Instead of trying to gently engage him, the process felt somewhat rushed.

What concerned me most was when Dr. Arnika, who had been observing, eventually brought an injection near my child’s eye to encourage cooperation. I believe this approach can be frightening for young children and may even create long-term anxiety around medical visits. On the report, it was noted as “patient not cooperative,” but with more patience, child-friendly techniques, and reassurance, the experience could have been far less stressful.

Dr. Sachi is very good, he makes the patient feel very comfortable both before and after the surgery. Dr. Arnika is also very understanding and answers even your smallest doubts patientl

The Dr is very professional and caring. I fid my trans PRK lasik treatment and it was so smooth and great . I will suggest a must do for the ppl who have specs for this journey from Dr. Sachin kohle.
