I have come to Mumbai with my mother who is a stage 4 cancer patient. Because of her health and high dose chemotherapy, she developed a serious skin rash. Doctors in Tata recommended us to visit Dr. Shefali to seek her expert opinion. Right at the outset, we felt confident and relieved on speaking with the doctor. Her approach to diagnosis and treatment was very simple and accurate. She started my mother in some medicines. Within 10 days, my mother who was suffering from the skin rash for over 4 months, begun to improve and feel better. Dr. Shefali happens to be not just a superb professional but also an extremely approachable and empathetic human being. She even waived off our consultation fee though she spent close to 30-40 mins of her valuable time with us. Just goes to show we need more medical professionals like her who really have that humane and empathetic side to their personality and make their patients feel that they are not alone in their journey. Dr Harish and Dr Shefali are one of the finest dermatolgist i came across. My cousin had seen Dr Harish for hair transplant and his surgical skills are par excellence and neat. My cousin flaunts his hair line and is very happy.Dr Harish is a perfect balance of skill and knowledge of the latest techniques when it comes to Hair transplant. The day of surgery went very smoothly and he made sure that each and every detail is explained and registered by the patient, a quality that comforts a patient who is about to undergo such a procedure.He is very professional and the follow ups are just making things better.

I had personally gone to Dr Shefali for skin pigmentation and botox. Initially I was very apprehensive for any treatment but she only advised me the necessary treatment and lasers for pigmentation and peels.I remember, when I kept asking for multiple things she suggested to do one thing at a time and explained how less is more when it comes to face. I am seeing lot of changes and it's working well for me.She is compassionate ,patient and very well read.
The clinic is catering to the clientele from all over mumbai and overseas and is at a very accessible location.

My mother visited this clinic for the concern of her double chin and she wanted something non invasive so Dr Shefali did her HIFU and told us to expect some result only after 2 months or so, she is now seeing a great difference and she is so happy that she would get one more session to fix it further.

Extremely Disappointed – Damaged Skin and No Accountability

I visited this clinic for a laser treatment to address minor pigmentation on my cheeks, trusting the dermatologist’s assurance that the issue would be fully resolved and would not recur. Based on their promises, I committed to a package that included four sessions of laser and hydrafacial treatments, timed ahead of my marriage.

However, the results were far from what was promised. After the final session, especially following the hydrafacial, my skin condition deteriorated drastically. I was left with uneven texture and visible skin damage – a complete contrast to what was assured.

What’s worse is the clinic's response. When I tried to reach out to report the damage and seek help, the dermatologist refused to engage unless I paid additional consultation fees. This is unacceptable. Why should I have to pay more for damage caused by their treatment?

This experience has been both distressing and disappointing. I strongly advise others to exercise caution before trusting such clinics that make lofty promises but fail to take responsibility for adverse outcomes. Do your research thoroughly before commiting to any treatments.

PS: Unbelievable — I received a threatening call from the clinic regarding this review, stating they would file a case against me. This clearly shows how you handle critical feedback. No wonder all your reviews are 5 stars — it seems you intimidate or pressure people into removing negative ones.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my concern. I'm glad you chose to reply this time rather than threatening legal action over a Google review, as was done during our phone call. I genuinely appreciate that you’ve taken the criticism more sportingly now and even looked up the basic legal position applicable on customer feedbacks.

Regarding the issue of not showing up for a timely consultation — I would like to clarify that I did attempt to reach out through your receptionist on call. However, I was informed that the doctor was unavailable to speak and that I would need to pay consultation charges again. I had taken a complete package specifically for pigmentation treatment, and when the issue hadn’t been resolved, it seemed unfair to me that I should be expected to pay extra just to discuss an unresolved concern.

That said, I strongly believe that patients deserve to be treated with empathy and respect — especially when they are dissatisfied or concerned about outcomes. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor’s tone and communication on call has made it clear that I won’t be reaching out to your clinic again.

I hope you take this feedback in the spirit of improvement and continue to strive for more compassionate patient care.
