I had been visiting this doctor for several months for my autoimmune skin condition (psoriasis) treatment. While the medicines he prescribed were effective (With Side Effects which was not heard properly he started shouting, getting angry and denying claim of side effect instead of dealing with it), his attitude was consistently rude, dismissive, and arrogant. He never took the time to understand my treatment better, he would either brush them off or speak in a way that made me feel stupid for even asking. His tone was always condescending, and he showed no real interest or patience with his patients.

Today was the final straw. I simply asked about my treatment, and instead of answering, he responded with the same disrespectful attitude. He even refused to provide a proper consultation, yet still charged the full consultation fee.

The doctor might know his medicines, but he completely lacks professionalism, empathy, and basic respect for his patients. I will not be going back.

Shifting blame and lying that i was self medicating through information off internet is a big LIE. It is very unprofessional, if a doctor has to lie to deal with a negative review.

For the record, I’ve received repeated calls to my parents and ME and even going to the resort of lying to my parents about what happened demanding them to force me to take down my review. In my opinion, that’s not how a review should be handled.

I am 17, studying for an Engineering degree. I am not a fool who would insist on a prescription for a medicine and get angry. If I wanted a medicine that badly, or wanted to treat myself, I would not have shown up to you, as obtaining medicines in India is not very difficult because they are not strictly regulated. I think dismissing your reply is useless because you keep editing the review’s response, changing the content, and adding new allegations to fit your narrative. This makes my reply to the clinic’s response ineffective and unhelpful for others.

I acknowledge that your treatment helped me greatly during the course of my treatment, which lasted around 6–7 months. However, I think it is very unprofessional for a doctor to dismiss patient concerns, argue with patients, not answer their questions, fail to communicate properly, make absurd claims to manage a review, and rush patients without proper consultation. If a patient doesn’t feel heard, or if you rush the patient and do not ask questions, it prevents you from understanding all the details, assessing the situation properly, and can discourage patients from following up with the treatment. This will be my last edit.

I would recommend improving your skills in dealing with patients and seeing reviews as suggestions for improvement rather than criticizing the patient for giving feedback. I believe you could be a much better dermatologist if you work on the points I have mentioned and become more professional and understanding.
