I had a really bad experience with Dr. Gorai as not only is he unprofessional but also rude and disrespectful. First of all, his team would make you wait for hours to see him and priority is always given to Medical Representatives even though there is a long list of patients waiting to see him. I unfortunately had to see him for an emergency skin rash and although on the phone I was told that he can see a patient early due to medical emergencies, I was made to wait for a very long time. Not only that, they prioritized two Medical Representatives’ visit before me even though I informed them that I was in much discomfort. All this after paying a whopping consultation charge of 1700 INR.
Secondly, during my follow up visit at Wizderm Jodhpur Park, I was again charged another 1500 INR and this time things got even more interesting. He got angry because I’d usually see my primary dermatologist (for aesthetic skincare services) but as she was out of town and as it was an emergency, I had to see Dr. Gorai. I don’t think it’s any of his business to take such offense in which doctor I see or what I see them for. He got very rude and condescending during the consultation. Appalled by his behaviour, I had to leave the clinic instantly.
Calcutta has several good dermatologists and clinics. Dr. Surajit Gorai and money minder unprofessional clinics like Wizderm should be your last option!
