He is very rude and arrogant with his practice. As a patient I have the right to ask questions related to my condition. It was disappointing to hear from a doctor, suggesting - "if you find questions by reading things online, search for answers online".

Dr. Dutta, you need to understand that we do not avail your services for free, but pay consultation charges. As a doctor it is your moral obligation to answer patient queries and not suggest to "google it".

Overall experience has been bad.

Dr. R. N. Dutta has been a saviour for us. This is the second time we have approached him to treat my father in law who has age old skin aliment. Within a week of starting his medications, 60% of improved was noticed. I am confident that he will be able to eradicate the skin related issues in no time. I would recommend others to approach him.

I share my horrible experience with the patients who are trying to knock Dr RN Dutta. He never have a patience to hear the patients. I have had gone to him for vitiligo treatment of my wife. He used so strong steroid day after day without any type blood tests or LFT or Uric acid or createnin anything else. Vitilgo increaseing with same pace, photographs are all taken, he uttered different philosophical words and prescription was overflowing with costly medicins. Three years later my wife succumbed to Acute Kidney Infection, Liver infection and ultimately at death bed. Thanks God and other Doctors she got rebirth from 6 days coma and 11 days ICU. All the experts of Kolkata are with a view that excessive arbitration of steroid without proper care and tests is the prime cause to put the patient in this perilous condition. So I request to all visitors of Dr RN Dutta, to save your life keep away from this egoistic dogmatic doctor who never keep his ear to patients problem.

I went for a hairfall treatment.
He was not very patient listening to all the details of my problems first of all, and his responses to any explanations was kind of a know-it-all type and rude.
He prescribed a long list of medicines and asked me to massage the scalp very strongly even if that damages the hair. He even asked me to take pictures of the scalp from different angles.
He was encouraging to go for the cosmetic treatments in his clinic throughout the conversation.
The entire encounter looked quite funny to me,
and not to my greatest surprise, the medicines and his suggestions did not help much.
