I visited this hospital to get rid of a wart on my thumb, Doctor was in a hurry and it felt like she wanted me to leave the room quickly. the nurse who was assigned to remove the wart gave me a horrible experience. She didn’t give the anaesthesia correctly which resulted in severe pain when she was removing the inside part. On top of that, when I was whimpering in pain, she would glare at me and say that there was an ad shoot going on and my sounds would disturb the shoot. As a hospital, they should prioritise their patients over their stupid advertising videos. And when the pain became unbearable I asked for brief pauses, then she used to get angry and say stuff like “you are wasting my time, I have lot of patients to attend to”. This experience left me scarred and left me thinking even minor procedures are extremely painful. Until recently when I had to get my wisdom tooth extracted. Tooth extraction procedure felt much more easy and less painful compared to getting a small wart removed from my thumb! Please teach some basic humanity and hospitality to your staff!
