About Dr Nikunj Mody

Dr Nikunj Mody is a board-certified plastic surgeon with special interest and training in Aesthetic surgery & Microvasular Surgery. Dr. Nikunj has completed his Plastic Surgery training at young age and has an excellent academic record with fellowships from the most sought-after places in the world and masters in their field.He has done his post-graduation from the oldest Plastic Surgery institute of India, Govt. Medical College, Nagpur. After finishing his training, he worked for a year each at Wadia Children’s Hospital & LTMMC Sion Hospital to have more exposure to paediatric plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. He did fellowship in microvascular and aesthetic surgery from Lilavati Hospital, Bandra under renowned Dr. Samir Kumta & Dr. Shrirang Purohit. To boost his surgical knowledge and skills in the field of facial aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and tumor reconstruction, he worked at Peking University of Stomatology at Beijing. He has special training in 3D software planning for precise maxillofacial aesthetic results. He has special interest in Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery and to hone his skills he visited University Hospital, Leuven & Brussels, Belgium and at Netherlands where he got to work with stalwarts in the field, Prof. Moustapha Hamdi and Prof. Jan Vranckx. He has special interest in Post Mastectomy Breast Reconstruction and aesthetic Breast Surgery such as Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction, Breast Lift & Fat Grafting.He has been awarded International travel fellowship award by association of Plastic surgeons of India. He has authored many publications in various National as well as International Journal.His priority has always been to provide high quality patient care and comfort in a non-commercial, friendly and private atmosphere to deliver excellent results in his chosen field of plastic surgery.
