Everyone dreams of a flawless skin. I too did. My childhood was filled with me fighting acne due to abundance of junk and oily food that I consumed (I was always a food lover). I started getting breakouts from the age of 14 and I had to put up a battle until I was 25. Like everyone else I too used to touch my pimples or sometimes try to take them out and hence the scars and the pores. I always hoped that I would wake up someday with a clear skin. After years of and it’s still scary even when I find a small spot again back on my skin. Years of figuring out what suits my skin and the right amount of food finally makes my skin look decent.

After years of all this drama I got a call from skinlabindia. When I first entered I was given a form in which I had to fill details about my allergies, skin type, previous medical records etc, after which I was taken for a consultation with Dr. Asha. After examining my report and talking to me for about just 10 mins, she suggested I take the PURE PORE TREATMENT which is a part of their Dermal Therapy.

The Pure Pore treatment is for acne prone skin types and used an anti acne gel and a seaweed based peel off mask that cleanses the skin and protects it from acne causing bacteria. I also asked for the skin hydration as a part of my therapy since my skin gets really dry (especially near my mouth and skin) at times.

This is an hour long procedure but trust me time just flew quickly. My therapist kept explaining the entire procedure, step by step and told me the uses of the products used.

I was surprised at how my skin looked in just one sitting. I wasn’t supposed to wash my face for about 24 hours with soap or wasn’t allowed to use cosmetics (which I never do expect for eyeliner and lipstick), but I had to go out in the evening. I just washed my face with just cold water and my skin looked like a million dollars.

After 4 days, I see no side effects (I always ended up with eruptions if I went to my parlor even for cleansing or facial, so I stopped doing that long back). Just happy to see a happy skin. :)
